Today is my baby's birthday! She is nine years old.  We have eight children and she is the youngest.  I know she is not really a baby, but she will always be my baby being the littliest one.  I am reminded that they soon grow up.  Everyone was saying last night (when we had her birthday cake) that this is the last year that she will be a single digit.   My oldest  baby  will soon be 27 years old and we don't see her too often as she lives in another city.  So young moms, enjoy the years with your lttle ones as they soon grow up.  Give thanks for each day and appreciate your children because some day we will no longer hear the pitter patter of little feet.

Thanks,

We too were a military family, but we were Air Force.  God bless you for service to our country.  I know there is a lot of sacrifice from not only your husband, but also the families who many times don't have your husband and dad with you.  That's great that you home school.  I have home schooled for 22 years now and it is much easier on the children when you move around.  Also, I have a group called Christian Homeschooling Moms with Large Families and you don't have to have a large family if you want to join us.
