Soccer for Toddlers?

Today I got a flyer in the mail for a local sports arena that does soccer for little guys, ages 18 months to nine years of age.

My youngest will be two on March 2nd and I really think he would LOVE it. He watches his brothers swim, play soccer and tball and he wants to play so bad.

Have any of you let your child play that young. It is not a competetive league or anything like that.

I think it would be great, but it is pricey so I am looking for some input.

i am looking forward to the day i can put my little guy in soccer....i hope they have teams for kids that young here!

Feb. 20, 2008 at 6:36 PM I have 3 children 2 boys and 1 girl and my second son matt has been playing since he was 5 years old and he loves it and he is 14 today and still plays soccer. I think it is great to get the kids in something whenever they reach the age.. i think yours would love it.  So go for it and you will love watching them. I go crazy over watching them play any sport some parents think i am crazy but hey its my kids!!!!
