You gotta feel for her.  My dear friend was chasing around a toddler with one hand while holding a perpetually hungry infant in the other. Her husband was always at work, and she couldn't summon up energy enough to load the dish washer, let alone the vacuum.

And so she cried. Well, sort of ... you know, online. "How do you do it?" she moaned. "You write and edit and keep house and volunteer at church and ... and all I can do is HOPE TO GET A SHOWER BEFORE NEXT TUESDAY!"

Not knowing what else to do, I posted a little reality check. Then I thought you might enjoy a little inside peek at the "girl who has it all together." Hah.

Enjoy. And tell me ... do you ever feel like "Remedial Mom"?

P.S.  Today I had the unmitigated joy of holding in my hands for the very first time my new book, "Raising Up Mommy." She's a little thing at only 71 pages ... but, oh, the labor!
