I would like to thank you ladies for all the support you have given me lately. It is nice to know there are people out there who truly understand how I felt when we lost our beloved dog, Tyler. He is still is in our thoughts and we miss him terribly, but know he is entertaining those up in heaven and with my aunt who had passed the Friday before he passed. I actually told my son, Dylan, that my aunt needed to have a friend with her.
I wanted to let you ladies know, I talked my husband in getting another puppy to not only help our family, but especially with my son. Over the weekend, we went out to Minerva, Ohio to look at some puppies. This puppy was born and raised on a farm with a lovely family. Our puppy was the last male.......immediately after seeing him, I feel in love. My son was jumping for joy and my husband just had a grin from ear to ear. Now, on the other hand, my daughter, was VERY leery. But has been slowly coming around.
Of course, as you can tell we brought him home......he is a chocolate labradoodle. According to the breeders, he is going to be around 60 to 70 pounds. He is actually a Fb1....which I am sure there are some of you who are thinking what I was thinking when I 1st saw the letters with numbers.....what the heck does this mean? I learned a lot this past week...........so this is what I have learned.......F1 is a labradoodle who is 1/2 poodle and 1/2 labrador. While, our puppy, is a Fb1, which means he is 75% poodle and 25% labrador. He has wavy, very soft hair and not the typical lab straight course fur. My husband has allergies to dogs and cats......so we really do not have a large group of breeds we have to choose from, so poodles we know are fine with him since their hair gets oily rather than having dander.
Thanks again for all of your support!!!!
