Can anyone help me with this one?  My daughter is turning 1 this month and is not sleeping through the night.  At 2 months, she was sleeping through the night.  About a month and a half ago she started waking up -- between 2 and 5 times a night.  She doesn't want to eat, just cries and stands in her crib until I come in and rock her back to sleep.  I've tried letting her 'cry it out', but that hasn't worked.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Please tell me I'm not the only one with a 1 year old who doesn't sleep!

Mar. 12, 2007 at 3:36 PM my daughter is 19 months and doesn't sleep thru the night either. I actually don't think it's common for them to.  a great website is www.askdrsears.com he isn't for the cry out method and has helped me with so much.  He has made me have more confidence in my parenting style.  I don't like the cry out method. i tried it and it didn't work.  my daughter is what Sears' calls a "high needs child"  your'e not alone.
