Big News!!!

tomorrow my hubby and i are going to go sign the final contract... we're buying a house! we made an offer, they made a very reasonable counter-offer, and we agree! i'm SO excited! we're buying our first home :) we won't be moving until june though.. or wait, is it may? i think its may. lol we close on april 28th. bummer though, we wanna move! we're so excited! here are a few pics

anyway, thats enough of those. its got 1855 sq ft, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, 2 fireplaces, a laundry room, and a decent sized back yard! i can't wait to start a little garden (greg really wants to plant an orange tree!) and get a compost going, and we're going to buy a clothesline to dry laundry on :)

on another note, today greg is leaving for 12 days to go to ohio for RAP duty (recruiters assistance program). i've convinced him to take jeremy, partially because i know his mom would want to see him, partially because i think greg needs some bonding time with his son, and partially for selfish reasons because i have lots of things to do in the next week and i could use a mini vacation...

my goals/plans for next week:

go to doctors appt, start weaning off my meds
go to lactation consultant, rent a hospital grade pump
begin the relactation process (pump every 2 hours during the day, every 3 hours at night)
get an inspector set up to look at the house, sign papers and all other things house-related
work on the catalog and other things related to opening up the business
try and get a job (or two) filling out applications, make a resume if necessary
have a day at the spa, using my valentines gift card from hubby :)
do some MAJOR cleaning around the apartment
make an appt and have ginger spayed... poor girl!

i think thats about all... i'm gonna be busy busy busy!

The house looks so cute!  How exciting for you guys!  Lucky you, I wish I could have a mini vacation!  I'm jealous! :-)  We should meet up this week since you are baby free, and I will make Raul watch the kids.
