ok, are waiting for the weekend to tell the kids about Samson (our recently departed dog)  we've also received 3 sympathy cards.  wow.

his cremains are ready.  I have to go get them.  You can't imagine how much it costs to have a 140lb dog cremated.  wow.  all i can say is, it comes from my side account, and Al need not know.

I don't care if you think that is deceitful.

I had a gr8 day at school today.....had some time after the test to really talk to the kids....a few i really connected with about some issues they have...and then a random kid came up to me and told me he wishes I was his teacher, b/c his friends learn so much from me.  wow.

kids are spending the night at al's dad's house.  works for us.

have a girls night dinner out tomorrow......am looking forward to it.

try the Impossible Quiz --- it's on addictinggames.com  first time i got to 5.  it's infuriating and frustrating and addicting.

(porky pig imitation): that's all folks....well of course there is more, but we'll end the stream of consciousness for a bit.

Mar. 6, 2008 at 7:25 AM I do not think it is deceitful...I keep alot of things from dh, nothing life threatening but why make ripples when need not be. It is not like you went and blew it on cocaine or Prada (the later being acceptable on a really bad day J/K)...So whatever...I really think deep down he would not have cared, I mean what was the other choices? The vet place has him mass buried or sent to the dump? Or you drug him home, keep checking he was dead and stiff and dug a BIG ASS hole (which is what we do) and had to make it in the shape of his body...then keep it covered for months so nothing digs him up??? I think it is the easier and more respectful way so be it...Also as for the kids you may want to when it gets warmer plant flowers where his asses are spread whatever...that way they feel included. Hope you have a good time with the girls and enjoyed your kidless night.

jess- so sorry again about samson.  my sister has an acre of land and so she has the pet cemetary.  i think so far she has a dog, 2 cats and a fish down there.  cremation is the best thing, no matter what the cost.  i think it is ok to not tell al.  thinking of you and that big doggy!

glad to hear that things are back to normal around the house again.  i know he always has a special place in your heart.  i was dealing with kayden's nursing strike this week and it's killing me.  it honestly feels like losing something unexpectedly.  i hope he comes around and get back in gear again.  i thought it was hard bf and teaching, but i got over that.  i hope this is just a lil bump on the road.

don't you love it when you have a heart to heart talk with your students and they are so understanding?  i love to sit my kids down and talk about stuff (when i'm ready to hear about "my brother's in jail or my mom and dad are fighting again about his gf or i hate my psychiatrist!").

Mar. 8, 2008 at 3:29 PM I must be a total moron, because I tried the Impossible Quiz and had no clue what the hell was going on. My brain hurts.
