what is this world coming to???

this morning i was watching Snapped(on oxygen).the episode was about a woman who wanted a baby so bad that she found a woman's name in a baby registry.well then she had her come to her house on some lie that she had mistakenly received the woman's baby gifts.long story short the woman's plans were to deliver the baby of the pregnant woman.

what in the world possesses a woman to cut a baby from a woman's womb with the intention of raising it as her own.wtf is wrong with people and what the hell is this world coming to.i just don't understand why all this awful stuff happens and why does it seem that after i look at the news there's some awful story about something that has happened to a mother or a child or both.

I saw a similar one where a woman looked up a baby registry for a woman whose due date was close to when she had told people her own "fake pregnancy" was due and called the woman. She told her that her name was similar to hers and that she had mistakenly had presents delivered to her home and the girl was welcome to come and get them. I think that lady fought her off and ended up being stabbed a few times.

Another one was about a woman who put an ad up for used baby furniture and clothing and when people would call she'd strike up a conversation about when they were due and what they were having and everything trying to pick her victim. The police finally caught onto her.

 It just goes to show that you have to be very careful because you're very vulnerable as a pregnant woman.

Mar. 7, 2008 at 9:06 AM I caught that episode, too.  I wonder what makes people think they can go that far to get what they want. It just makes me hold my loved ones a little closer.

I think it is horrible that some women feel that way....  I would never do it, but honestly, I could see why....  If someone keeps lossing children and can't have one, I think that could cause you to just go crazy....  I am still not saying it is okay, but I can understand, TO A POINT!!!! 

I still wish I could have kept my child from becoming an angel, but I couldn't....  I don't know.... Even loosing one child has forever changed me, I am now a shell of my former self....  I don't know how to fix it, but I know I am.....

 

(I hope you don't think I am crazy for saying that, but like the parents who kill their children, many other women can see why, but they still wouldn't do it, but they can see how some women can just snap and go crazy....)
