Surgery on monday

My boyfriend is scheduled for surgery on monday.  The doctor said they have to rake his appendix out because there is a mucin bubble in it.  If the bubble burst he could die.  They'll take the bubble out and send it to the lab and see if it's cancerous.  If it's cancerous they'll be other steps we'll have to take.  I'm terrified and have been crying off and on all day.  The doctor said this is incredible rare and he's actually only seen it twice before in twenty five years of practicing medicine.  But on the plus side he's giving us a huge discount on the surgery.  I'm just so scared.  I want all of this to be over with so we can get married and get on with our lives.

 I'm keeping my eyes and fingers and toes and arms crossed that it's not cancerous.
