When is it ok to remove the head support?

my daughter is almost 4 months old and is barely able to fit into her carseat with her head support in.  When is it ok to take the head support out?  I don't want to do it to soon.  She is able to hold her head up.

to be completely honest, i never used the head support. o.O

however! lol. if she doesn't fit with that one anymore, you could probably buy another, bigger one if you did still want to use one. i dont know?

well if she cant fit in her carseat with it then she is too big for it .. I would take it out and may be roll a  recieveing blanket up and put it around her head like the support thing to help support her if she cant hold it up herself
