OK, so I've got more stuff about me....just gonna blab away in blurbs:
*Eve lost her 1st tooth!!! HOw exciting!!! But i feel bad b/c I don;t have one of those cutesy first tooth pillows to stick it in. It's in a ziploc bag....the tooth fairy will deal with that. She wants $10 from the T.F. as well.....anyone care to 'flutter' us that cash? Damn, a 5yo w/ champagne tastes!!
*After all that worrying, the kids took the news about Samson really well. Eve cried, and Nick doesn't beleive us, but they're over it, and actually were talking about him today and about remembering him...which is cool.
*Do you have the cool parents or are your s.o.'s parents the 'better' grandparents?? My parents just REFUSE to take these kids......meanwhile they dumped us with my grandmother constantly. Oh well, their loss!! You prob think my kids are monsters, that's why, but the truth of the matter is that my dad likes his life quiet and focused on his every need/whim, and my mom is too busy catering to all that sh!t to deal wiht anything else. whatevah!!
*we're getting snow, and I'm out of vanilla coke zero. i asked my sweet DH to go get me more.....got the big NEGATORY on that one. no coke zero==no sex. wow.
*OMG--you gals are going to DIE LAUGHING on this one!!! Our junior hi plays a faculty vs. students basketball game....and I've been recruited to play!! They want me as a post player underneath the hoop......um..that's where you box out, or elbow chicks outta the way for the ball. pays to be an amazon fat chick!! But in preparation, I ran some on the treadmill this AM!!

Oh, yea! Where do I find the address fro this very rich tooth fairy? I will start pulling my own teeth if she will leave me $10 a tooth! Or I may be forced to steel from my 1st grade class, as a class someone seems to lose a one a week. This could be more lucrative than my teaching career!
Exciting on the first tooth. But 10 bucks?? Is that the going rate these days? I think I got a dollar.
Good to hear the kids are doing well with the loss of Samson. I think children are often stronger than we think they are. Although lately, my 4-year-old has taken to crying at the drop of a hat. Gotta nip that one in the bud.
I definitely have the cool parents, but they live in California, so we don't see them very often. DH's mom is here in town, so she babysits a lot. But she's pretty lazy and overweight and out of shape so she doesn't physically play with the girls -- just a lot of TV and coloring, which can only go so far for my rambunctious two.
I feel your pain with the Coke Zero. I'm a Diet Coke junkie. Gotta have my fix daily.
The only thing funnier than you playing basketball would be ME playing basketball. Don't get me wrong, I'm coordinated and everything. But I am soooooo NOT athletic. I grew up with dancing and cheerleading and such. No sports whatsoever. DH makes fun of me because I can't dribble a ball to save my life, but crank up the music and I can drop it like it's hot like nobody's business!

Omg, you crack me up!!! Don't feel bad about your parents not takin the kiddos, mine are the same way...only one that cares to actually spend time with them is the FIL...which is fine. I, like you, feel that it's their loss....OH WELL!!!
As for that b-ball game, I for one would LOVE to see that!!! Prep yourself with music to pump you up....show your attitude!!!! Be the "tough girl" and if all else fails, duck when you see an elbow comin'!!!
