Emma has a weight check up on Monday

PLEASE PRAY THAT MY LITTLE EMMA has gained some much needed weight. She is so tiny. Were feeding her solid foods now three meals a day with 3 to 4 bottles. Yet last time we were in she was not even 17 pounds and she should be well past that. My heart was sinking last time for her 9 month check up. She is well other wise. Her PEDI says it is because she is so active she burns off her weight just as fast as she puts it on. And it is true she is took her first steps at 8 and a half months. She is a fire cracker she is so fast and she is such a delight to watch her every day. But she is so small it makes me worry for her. SO I ask you pray for her that she has gained some weight at least 2 pounds in 3 weeks it is a lot. We have been working on it so hard. I just pray for Emma that she is going to be ok.

Shy is still under 20 lbs... and is 17 months.. she is just tiny!!!

rULE OF THUMB-- BIRTH WEIGHT WILL DOUBLE BY 6 MO, AND TRIPLE BY A YEAR.

SHE MAY JUST BE TINY....

Mar. 9, 2008 at 1:39 PM hey hun, shell get up there. my daughter is 2 1/2 years and she is just now geting up to 13 lbs. we are suspecting that she has primordial dwarfism. her doc thinks so also. she is in 3-6 month clothes and right now she is on 2000-3000 calleries a day just to try to keep her weight up. they have checked my daughter for everything you could think of and the test come back that shes fine. my addvice for you would just be keep feeding you daughter and watching her grow. shell hit her growth spert. it took my son almost 5 years before he hit his and now he is almost as big as me and he is almost 8 years old. when he was 4 years old he was wearing 2 ts in clothes. just take it easy.
