This winter has been long, cold and rather uneventful. I am so ready for Spring...I ready for flowers, warmer air, and I'm ready for the kiddos to start playing outside...they really need it!!![]()
Tyler did play basketball this winter. He played for the Sedalia Park and Rec team "Custom Communications" he was #6. He loved playing and he even scored several points for his team. He also received a medal. Here is a picture of my little 'future' basketball star

Tyler is doing great in 1st grade! His teacher said that he is becoming a great writer, and he will compete in a school spelling bee later this month...he has been practicing everyday. Tyler is also looking forward to his field trip to Science City in KC on the 26th.
Chloe turned 2 this winter, and she is STRONGLY demanding to prove her independence. She loves playing with her dolls and her play kitchen. The biggest fight I have with her; is her persistence to wear her night gowns ALL day...she loves her pj's and I'm even gulity of taking her out in public with them still on (b/c I didn't want to argue with her). Her is Chloe in one of her gowns:

Oh, and Chloe has found the artist in her...she has been coloring the walls...luckily with washable markers!! On a more serious note, I have contacted a hearing specialist to test her hearing...she has failed two previous hearing test done by PAT (she fails to reconize the softest sound). I have been worried because her language is a bit delayed compared to other children her age...she understands what is being said to her, but she doesn't talk clearly in most cases...so I have my fingers crossed that something will help her with her speech/hearing. Our next big goal is POTTY TRAINING!! Wish me luck!!
I have been doing pretty good...I will graduate from SFCC in May and plan to attend UCM in the fall to obtain my Psychology Degree...I can't wait. I am also looking forward to warmer so I can take the kids out on walks and hopefully bike rides. My next big goal is to start a HEALTHLY LIVING PLAN for the entire family...Mike and I really need to lose weight!
Mike is doing well...he is managing his Diabetes fairly well....and he loves his new big screen t.v. and PS3...so basically he is in heaven!
Thank you for reading my ramblings...I am going to try and make new entry at least once a week! You never know what I will include in Leanna's Leaflet!

Comments:
Hey, I had the same problem with Dade that you are having with Chloe. He just wouldn't say anything or if he did say something it was just the same thing over and over, never anything new. He finally started talking after his 3rd birthday. So, maybe she's just taking her own sweet time with it, hopefully that's all it is. But anyway, glad to hear everything is going good for you all!
