Celebrity Encounter!

Here's the scene...I'm in Las Vegas on vacation. My sister and I are shopping in a Chico's outlet store. I try on an outfit, and I'm in the fitting room hall checking it out in front of the mirror when I hear this familiar-sounding voice say "that looks real nice on you" The woman smiles at me. I say, "thank you" and wonder where I know her from. A little later we're at the check-out counter, and there she is again. She asks me  where I got the blue top that she saw me try on. I said, "It was the only one". She said "Oh, are you going to keep it?".  I say, "Yes, I'm having these shipped home". She says "Oh, they will ship for you?" I said,"yes, they ship for free". She turns to the girl that is tallying up her large pile of purchases, and tells her she wants part of them shipped to Los Angeles. She turns to another woman waiting in line and asks her if she's going to wear the outfit she's holding, to the concert that night. (sounded like they had had a previous conversation) The woman says that she is. And the first woman says, "Well, I hope I don't see you, cause that's what I'm wearing!", and laughs. I now have recognized her voice and tell my sister, "She's the chief's wife on Grey's Anatomy".  My sister says, "that threw him out?". Then I turn to her and say, "You look so familiar". And she says "I do television", as she walks away. As we walked out of the store, we saw her with a nice looking man in an athletic/jogging suit carring a lot of shopping bags, trailing behind her, looking like a husband looks when he'd really rather be somewhere else. I was going crazy trying to find out her name. Then I went on Grey's Anatomy Fans group, and the ladies there were a fount of information. They told me her character's name is Adele, and her real name is Loretta Devine. She was so sweet and friendly. My sister couldn't get over the fact that she was shopping in an outlet mall.
