Rash

Please do not think that I am being perverted in any way. But, I would like for you all to take a look at a picture of my son's diaper area. He has this rash the is peeling and I am concerned. I would like your opinions on what you think it could be and what you think I should do about it. Thank you.

Mar. 10, 2008 at 12:58 AM I think you should get it checked out.  It is hard to see from the picture what is really going on.  I'm sure this is not the great help you hoped for.  Maybe try putting it up in the Medical Questions group.  You might get a lot of advice from there.  Hope your baby feels better!!

omg!! i dont think ive ever seen one like that. maybe hes allergic to the diaper or cream or wipes or even the bath soap that you use. I would take him to the doc ASAP!! get it checked before it gets any worse

Mar. 10, 2008 at 1:00 AM I would take him to the pedi. it may be a yeast infection, my granddaughter had a severe rash and we had taken her to the E.R. but the said it was just a diaper rash but it got worse so she made an appt with the pedi. and they did some tests and it was a yeast infection they put her on a cream to help clear it up.
