i know im posting alot now but here is something that was brought up to me. i have been having femine problems, like i start my period the day before slightly but didnt really bleed so i thought i wasnt. go to my obgyn yesterday about a lump and they tell me i am on my period but im not bleeding. well my dh made a comment and i am seriously thinking about it. he is supposed to get fixed but he said with all my problems maybe i should do it that it may solve my problems. he doesnt want anymore children so there is no chance for more kids. the ob says im not ovulating right most likely and i go a month without a period so my question is how long will i be out of work if i get fixed? will it solve my problems like i think it would?

Just getting your tubes tied will not fix your period issue.... having a hysterectomy would

no, having your tubes tied won't solve your problems of irregular periods. All that does is stops the egg from reaching the uterus. Having a hysterectomy, "WOULD" solve your problems, no more periods, but a doctor is not going to do a hysterectomy as a form of birth control. And they won't do one because of irregular periods, usually either. Talk to your doctor. Having your tubes tied, you'd be off work for maybe a week, depending on what you do, hysterectomy, 6 weeks, minimum.

doctors wont just do a hysterectomy for no good reason. its a HUGE surgery that will only be done for medical necessity
