I just got this email from a friend of mine. We were really close in HS and then went our separate ways. We just recently found one another on myspace and it is like we have not been apart for 16 yrs. But once she had her baby at the beginning of this year, she has been busy. So anyway.....Please pray for her and her family. Here is what she sent to me.
hey its me i know its been a loong time....our new baby was born on jan 7....weighed 9lbs 11 oz...wow what a big baby,,,we moved into our new home on feb 16. that went well not everything is done but it was time to move....sarah turned 4 march 1 and we had her party on march 8......we have been sick brandon went to thr er and had croupe then had a double eye infection and then ended it with a cold and that has been 3 weeks and just now feeling better...sarah 2 weeks ago had bacterial infection i took her to urgent care....she is now starting to feel better.and now we are spending our 3rd night at childrens hospital with justin.....it started sunday night justin wasnt breathing right so i took him to the er.. he had a nose swab and a xray and a breathing treatment...he tested - for the rsv virus...sent me home with a inhaler and do a follow up; the next day with ped...so i did that and she said he need the inhaler so do that and keep up the fluids, but if his breathing seems to be getting harder like sucking in around the ribs and in the throat call her....so monday night that started so i had to get a nebulizer and i did that 2xs that night like i was supposed to and during that night his diaper had like a red powder to it so i call the doc in the morning and she wanted to see us right away....so during the visit she wanted justin admitted for dehydration....so we did that and in and off his breathing became worse....remind you that justin is only 9 weeks old so he was getting breathing treatments every 4 hours so at 10 that night the doc camt to see us and uped his treatment to 3 hours then like 12:45 is oxygen level took a nose dive i paged the nures and she left the room came back and the room swarmed with nurses things were happening so fast the doc on call said to me we need to transport to a better hosp[ital we hw can get the trreatment he needs....so he was air lifted to the university of chicago comer childrens hospital.......he has a breathing tube and he has a feeding tube and he had 2 ivs now he onlyh has one now its in his groin area.....so we have been here since 4am wed... just today the test for rsv came back + its his 2nd test since being here and now we are waiting for 2 other test to come back....so we are trying to get him off the breating tube babies take 30 breaths a minute and the monitor is at 20 now so he seems to be doing good they are trying to wein him off the air so they can take tha tube out.....so thats what been going on here....so how is everthing your way?im using jims work computer so i will try to check my mail...talk to ya later..

Wow..that is scary. My prayers are with your friend and her family. When my Gracie was born, she was in the NICU for a week for breathing, she was a preemie. She had the CPAT and so many IV"s in her little body. It's hard to watch your little one go through so much but thank God she is a healthy 12lb almost 4 month old now. God will keep lil Justine safe and hold him in his hands.
