Spring? Is that you??

Today FINALLY gave me hope that Spring may actually be coming! It was 50 degrees out!! Just a couple of days ago it was in the 20's. I know it was a one day thing,and it will be in the 30's again tomorrow. But it felt sooo good. I opened up several of the windows and let the winter funk out of the house.



My cat, who is indoor-outdoor, has spent the majority of his day outside. He's probably checking out all of his hunting grounds he hasn't been near all winter.



Our driveway is a big mudbog right now. I've been driving up to our mailbox the last couple of weeks because it's been so icy, now I am because I'm afraid I'll be stuck in the mirey gooeyness.



I spotted Canadian geese flying back north.



A large black fly was actually buzzing around our front door. That's the one thing I do like about winter, the lack of bugs.



This is the most hopeful and happy I've felt in several months!

Mar. 14, 2008 at 9:14 PM Ahh Michigan. Gotta love it!  It's actually supposed to be in the low 40's through the weekend. But still nothing like it was today. It got up to 58 near me. It was niiiiiice. I drove home from work with windows down and radio blaring.  I loved it.  Now i just need to be able to walk around with no coat and we'll be good! C'mon spring!!
