Sleeping through the night?

Alright, I don't know what to do. My baby is now 5 months and still does not sleep through the night. My 2 older kids were sleeping through the night consistently by 2 months. I don't know why he won't. He does share a rom with me and ny DH because we bought a 3 bdrm house 2 years ago thinking we were done with babies. So I dont know if it is because every time he fusses I get up and I didn't with the other 2. I've tried routine? of some sort and that doesn't really make a difference. I have also fed him rice cereal right before bed and he wakes up more. He only wakes up about 2 times normally, eats, and goes back to sleep, but I want him to sleep ALL night. I can't let him just cry (hubby has work and kids have school) and I can't stand to listen to him cry anyways. Does anyone have any ideas?

My 7mo old doesn't sleep through the night. He gets at least once for a bottle.

Mar. 17, 2008 at 1:26 PM no ideas really, sorry. My son was like 15 mos (yes over 1 yr old!) before he slept through the night. I tried anything and everything. He will sleep when hes ready. Good luck!

Mar. 17, 2008 at 1:29 PM Thanks for your comments. It seems like everybody else's(word?) babies are sleeping all night and have been for awhile so I was just wondering what I'm doing wrong.
