Things I've Learned Over the Past Year...

This last 12 months have been a hard, wonderful, eye-opening experience...here's what I've learned.

Despite my faults and mistakes, my friends still love me.

I really need to clean more often and occasionally check behind the fridge for things. :-)

I love being a mom, despite the fact that I want to kill him sometimes.

I became a mom to be a mom.

Friends are Family!

Family is AWESOME!!!

I love my husband more and more each day.

I don't fish to catch a fish, I fish to reflect...catching a fish is just a bonus!

I love music more than ever, and seeing Xander enjoying too, is just icing on the cake!!

If your heart is in your work, it's never boring nor hard.

Never have I made so many mistakes or made so many awesome choices in one year.

I really think I've learned from my mistakes. I and I hope and pray I'll never repeat them again.

I try and have my big girl panties on at all times.

I take my lickings with as much dignity as I can muster (some days, it wasn't much!)

Never have I been so happy and so sad.

I've learned that sometimes you need a "mom talk" even-though it's not something you want to hear and it's not from your mom...but it was what you really needed at the time.

Most of all?

Respect and Patience.
