What I was doing to my Family ...
o I was using Clorox Bleach in my laundry and
a. If chlorine bleach is used in an industrial setting, workers are required to wear protective clothing, chemical goggles and full-face shields?
b. What if my daughter would spill this on herself or one of our dogs?
o I used Lysol to spray in the air to clean the air in the bathrooms and
a. Lysol contains PHENOLS and DIOXIN (Agent Orange)?
o I was using Formula 409 to clean my counters and appliances and
a. Formula 409 is considered a LEGAL PESTICIDE?
o I was using Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo on my kids and dogs and
a. This contains Quaternium-15, or Q-15which after research found out it is actually Formaldehyde
b. Childhood cancers are up 20% in the last two decades, cancer has been linked to exposure to FORMALDEHYDE, PHENOL, BENZENE, TOLUENE and XYLENE- which all are found in common household cleaners?
o I didn’t realize that the chemicals in my home could cause problems or be the reason my family could develop asthma, eczema and ADD/ADHD?
