Walk with those seeking truth,

run from those who think they found it.

The fake, cute kind.... So, when we moved in here in July I took the time to paint the accent wall in Sid's room a nice pink, but aside from that have not done any "permanent" design to the room. She has a matching crib/changing table which are a dark sleigh style cherry wood, and she has pink toile/stripe bedding with a touch of green stripes, and a beautiful white nantucket style armoire (we have the matching toddler bed but she isnt big enough for it yet!!)... and a HUGE mirror that I painted distressed white above her crib, but nothing else on the walls.

Her curtains are white sheers with dragonflies so I went with that and when I was at JoAnnes today I found some adorable little wood shapes (thanks provo craft, lol) that are painted... bugs... flowers... dragonflies.. butterflies... and some really cute shaped letters... dream...smile.. laugh.. celebrate.

Above her bed I am leaving the mirror, but on the other side I will put up her new "inspiring" words and some cute little mirrors I found. On the wall with her dragonfly curtains I am going to put up a bunch of these butterflies and dragonflies and bugs, and they will be "crawling" out of giant tissue paper flowers I am making! I cant wait to show you all pictures of it all done (I will post pictures tonight probably..) but here are some pictures of the items I am using.. and best of all, all the supplies only cost around $35.00 for ALL the wood shapes (around .45 cents each) and each pompom flower uses 1 pack of tissue paper and wire. (if anyone wants instructions let me know and I will give you the link.. they are SO easy!)

here are some of the flowers (my poor dining room became the staging ground for this room re-do..)... I am making more but so far these are the ones that are done. They will hang from the ceiling with monofilament so they will look like they are floating.

and here are some of the bugs.. not all of them... they are so cute!

so so so super cute. We have a playdate this morning but this afternoon I should get it done, so pics coming soon!!
