The kids rooms! **updated with pics**

OK, so in Micahs room I finished putting up his "shelves" which are just skateboards I drilled through.. but we will have to change the mounting brackets because sadly its not holding as much weight as I would have liked... however.. heres how it looks as it is... and a pic of his new bed! Its a bunk, but he doesnt feel ready to sleep up top yet, and he likes his little "cave" below. I still need to build him a train table, and paint his blue and orange stripe, but his room is definately coming along.

And, Sids room! My previous journal shows the supplies I used and all that, but her room only cost me $35.00 and two 1/2 gallons of pink paint I had left over from out home in Washington that I mixed together to make her special pink.

Yay! She's so stoked... she just keeps looking around going "whats that?" "whats that?" She loves it. I want to make more of the flowers and continue them further down the wall but for now I am letting it rest. I am also going to make a big bunch of tiny ones and hang them like an art piece above her crib.. but all in good time.

Sidda and Micah's rooms are looking good! Great job.

I love the bright colors and the coordinating ceiling fan in Sidda's room and the skateboard shelves in Micah's room! It also looks like Micah will have some fun climbing up to the top part of his bed too--that's a super cool bed for him!

Mar. 27, 2008 at 11:20 AM You are so talented and remind me a lot of my little sister.  She is always painting and "doing" in her house.  She had the cutest playroom for my nieces and she had painted all four walls with the cutest little mural . . . a white picket fence, a tree, little sprigs of flowers peeking through the fence and above it, along with some butterflies and dragonflies.  She painted it in delicate pastel colors and it was so light and airy-looking.  The rooms look great!!!!
