A bad day....but thank goodness for kids!!!

Today had been a bad day...

Not to mention that I have been sick with pneumonia since the end of February. I am running back and forth to the vet and animal hospitals with my 4 dogs and it is costing a fortune. I'll pay anything to get them healthy,though because they are just like my kids.

Our lab,Bruski, has been battling vomiting and diarrhea off and on since the beginning of March and has been hospitalized once and on a multitude of meds. We brought him home last Thursday and he seemed to be doing okay but had an episode of vomiting on Sunday and again on Thurs of this week. Todya he went from bad to worse and had to go to the animal hospital again. I didn;t want him stuck there for the weekend so I asked if they could give me the injections so I could give to him and my doctor agreed. He lost 2 pounds in a week and the vet siad that some dogs die from pancreatitis...he is only 1 1/2 years old and like a baby to us so that hit me hard. I have been trying to feed him and give water every 3 hours so I'll be up all night tonight b/c Hannah cannot deal with loosing her best friend.

I put Hannah to bed late tonight but she lost another tooth...very excited and had to prepare the tooth for the tooth fairy and eventually after the preparation the tooth finally made it under the pillow and I thought she was asleep. I just went in her room for a sleeping "angel" child fix.....I love to stand there and watch her sleep she is like a miracle in my life.....

So, lo and behold, she looks at me...as I am so shocked she is awake at 12:30 am because I was hoping to be able to get the tooth and replace it with her "fairy money".....

She says"Man, I'm soo tired and I gotta get some sleep. When is that tooth fairy gonna get here?" I then tucked her back in bed and told her that the fairy does not come when the little girls are awake...that is why they make you put the tooth under your pillow.

She was satisfied with that answer and while I was giving kisses and hugs I was able to reach under the pillow and swipe the tooth for the fairy money.....w/o being caught!!!

Kids are so cute sometines...It made me forget the bad for a bit!!!
