*vent* about work...

ok well this week  was actually a very good one..

I decided i wasn't going to waste my time being upset about being single, or worrying about stupid exes, etc etc...

so this was actually a very therapeutic week for me..

but....you know SOMEBODY hadta piss me off a bit ;)...

i work at a hospital right now..im usually a nursing assistant but with one of our seceretaries going for surgery and one going on maternity leave they "cross trained" me and I've been playing SEXYtary as my friends call me..haha..

well being secretary at a hospital includes being yelled at by doctors, being yelled at by nurses, being yelledat by nurses, pharmacy, the lab, patients, family members,etc....

WHY do they feel the need to yell at me? i am sooooo nice to everyone at work and i hate confrontation so being yelled at really bothers me...

im JUST the messenger dude...

I do not call your office, Dr. _____, to piss you off...i call you because the dumbass nurse down the hall asked me to call you because when she talked to you five minutes ago she forgot to tell you something VERY important about her patient....

and to the nurses.... I KNOW what its like to have my name called 3958023496789037846098 times.. i worked as a nursing assistant for years...and if they dont remember...i am going to be a nurse this summer..i KNOW how it is...but i do not get pleasure out of calling the nurse over and over...i simply do it because Mrs. Smith in 404 is in pain, Mr. Jones in 406 wants jello, Mr. John in 408 is a drug addict and hes coming out of his high and thinks his call bell is attacking him, and Mrs. Davis in 410 shit herself again....

why do they continue to think that I "have it out for them"...

I do not enjoy making your days busy and stressful..

heck i can't wait til im a nurse this summer just so I can be the one who puts in my own orders into the computer, calls my own Doctors, and doesn't yell at anyone because I now know how to do all those secretary things so I won't bother the secretary with them...I'll do 'em myself..

AND..when a nurse in the section next to mine gets called to 2835692 different rooms at once..i will be kind enough to step in and help her out a bit..so that she doesnt freak out at the secretary about not being able to be in 30 places at once :-)...

well there has to be someone there that they can all shit on... luckily for you it is you they throw feces at this week/month.

sorry that you don't like being yelled at by rude, mean co-workers. count the days til your back into your own positon and not taking over someone elses.
