My Day from HELL!!!

So yeah, I had a day from hell... If you read my other post on answering services, you'll know that in the past few weeks, I've had excessive swelling in my left foot.  I have 5 weeks left till I deliver--So I thought "Oh no big deal... its just part of the pregnancy" ... Yesterday, one of my kids hit my foot or hit it with a toy early in the morning while doing Easter baskets & it felt like my foot was going to explode!!  So all day, I delt with the pain.  I actually got to sit more too because it was a holiday & I had a lot of other people to help run around with the kids.  Well when we got home I took my shoes & socks off (I didnt have my shoes on most of the day either) and looked at my foot & where the foot & leg join (usually the ankle, but I dont have one at the moment) was a huge bubble!  I called the dr this morning--the bubble was gone, but the swelling & pain was still there.  Hence my answering service post.  Anyway, they call back, tell me to come in at 1 when my dr would be there... ok.  Then they call me back saying my dr wont be there till 130, maybe 2--go to the hospital... it could be preeclampsia.  So its 845am, I call my inlaws (they have dr appts today) to see if they know of anyone who could watch the kids... they said they'd do it in shifts.. So I jump in the shower (freaking out mind you) get myself & the boys ready (in a record 30 mins!! LOL)  Get to the hospital by 10 they hook me up to monitors, take blood & NOTHING.  Not that thats a bad thing, but I just wasted 2 hours sitting in a hospital. UGH.  Then the L&D nurse tells me to go to my drs cause he wants to check me out, but cant see me till 130.  Ok, I go have lunch, stop by Marcus' job to let him know Im alive & then head to the dr.  Didnt get seen till almost 2 pm.. I was told by the tech to undress from the waist down, he wants to do an internal... Ok.  He comes in & looks at my leg & says... I dont need to do an internal. Now Im frustrated... WTF??? Not that I want an internal or anything, but COME ON!!! I still dont know WTF is wrong with me!!!  So tomorrow I have to go pick up a kit to do a 24 hour urine sample so they can check my protiens & make sure its not kidney related...

So at 3pm, I leave, go get the kids & by 4 Im home.  Now, I was going to go shopping cause we have no food in the house.. cant do that... I have nothing for dinner... I made my own mac & cheese (it was gross too!! LOL)  And I discover the mother of all ticks on my dog!!!  So hubby & I work on taking the tick out... (He did, not me, I just held her) & wouldnt you fricken know it... the head pops off in the body!!!!! I start freaking... I know its not his fault that was a very stubborn tick! It did NOT want out.  So I call the vet hospital emergency number, the vet calls me back & tells me "Its ok."  Im like ... Uh, In humans if the head is left in the body its dangerous... how is it not the same for dogs????  Shes like "Oh, it'll work out on its own like a splinter.  Just keep an eye on her & if she shows discomfort or swelling, bring her in".  Ok, but if my dog fricken dies... Im suing the bitch!!!  I may say I hate my dog every now and then (usually for shittin on my floor), but I dont want her to die!

And then, well... all Im gunna say is Bill Collectors!!! Im NOT even getting into that one.  

So lets see... it's 9:15--can the rest of the night be ok???
