I just wanted to take this moment to share with my sisters, my friends and even those that have no yet crossed paths with me this song... Everytime I hear it I feel like God is encouraging me through the words. I feel like the song was created just for me. I know that sounds alittle selfish but we all hear songs that touches us in such a way. It has been 9 years now since the day we tried to conceive, and 6yrs since my hysterectomy... but through it all I know GOD IS ABLE! When you hear the intro you will see what drew me to this song , then every word draws me closer.. I am not afraid of how others see me, I am not worried that God won't bless our family... I am grateful for the little reminders we receive whether it be through friends, strangers, or a song...they happen for a reason..

This is the main reason:

Some people cross paths with you to fertilize the soil prepare it,- they are rooted in you - they are strong and will never leave you, they are your base, some to plant seeds- help you grow, and some to fall away- only there for a season and when their season is up they go away like leaves in winter. They were never meant to stay.

Many have crossed my path and many fell like leaves in winter - yet God is my root ...my base.

This song gives me Hope, Joy, Peace, it encourages me to continue on...
