Ok, trying this out again!

Well , I came to cafemom a while back and signed up, but I never used it.  So several months ago I came back, and semi used it.  Now I'm back again, and attempting to make it a part of my every day internet usage!

So I guess to start things off, I'm Azia (pronounced like Asia), a 25 year old mommy of one 2 year old little boy.  Well I better say 3 year old little boy, since he will be 3 in less than 1 month.  Crazy!  His name is Rylin, he's a very sweet, quiet little boy most of the time.  Usually he stays to himself, but just don't piss him off.  He can definately throw a fit if he needs to.  For some odd reason he has decided that's the best way to get his point across, lol.   Anywho, I live in Tuscaloosa, AL and have been married to my 25 year old husband William for 5 1/2 years.  We get along great most of the time.  He really is a good catch...he cooks and cleans, most of the time.  Well he washes dishes and clothes, I vacuum and mop and keep Rylin's room clean.  We really don't have that many friends...most of our weekends are spent at home or out doing something as a family.  I have always been envious of those people who have friends that have kids and they all hang out and go do stuff together, vacation together even, but we just haven't had the fortune of meeting very many people our age with children.  We have one couple that we have been friends with a long time (we even introduced them) that do not have kids, but I think the reason we hang out with them...when we do, is just out of being nice at this point.  There is also another couple that we are beginning to be friends with who have a little girl.  We just haven't had that many opportunities to hang out, I'm really hoping there will be more in the future and we can phase out the 1st couple all together, lol.

Mar. 25, 2008 at 5:49 PM Well...welcome back..again! I'm 25, mother of one 5 year old boy. I am in college majoring in Early Childhood Education and I'm currently student teaching in a wonderful preschool class. If all goes well, I will be graduating in May with my assoc. and will continue for my BA. I am engaged to a great, hardworking man, who is not my son's bio father, but the only father he knows. We also don't keep friends. It's too hard to find decent people who don't drive me crazy, or I'm just too busy. I have one really good friend from high school that I still do things with sometimes, but they just moved even further away, almost an hour now, so we will see each other even less. Ok...oh...I'm a Hufflepuff in Moms who love Harry Potter, in case you love him. You can join up! Talk to you later, I have to go to class! -Erika
