Ok. . . let me just put it out there first off that I don't like HIllary.



With that being said. . .



Does it make anyone else mad that she says that she "misspoke" over claims of dodging sniper fire in Bosnia?

Ummm. . . here is a reality check. . .



You didn't misspeak, you LIED!

There is a difference. A HUGE difference.



Why lie about something like that? It is sick and disgusting! Especially when we have soldiers shrewn all over the world who are dodging sniper fire for real each and every day.



What? Does she just want to fit in? Does she think it sounds cool to say? I didn't have much if any respect for her to begin with, but now she just flat out disgusts me.



Just as do the people in the military who have never deployed, but they will say that they have just to get the "ooohs" and "ahhhs" of the people around them, or just so people will buy them drinks at bars. They are the dirt I walk on, and are only making what people like my husband do look insignificant. Hillary has done the same thing. There were US soldiers who REALLY WERE dodging sniper bullets in Bosnia. There were even more civilians there who were dodging bullets on a day to day basis. Think that is insignificant? I don't. I'm sure they don't either.



Sorry for the rant, but this really bothers me. Sure, she is a politician, and it was only a "little white lie." Yeah, if she will pull stuff like that out of her. . . well, you know. . .

and tell us all a total frabrication, what else do you think she has or will lie about?

Some of you may totally dissagree with me, but I really don't care.

Let me ask you this: why do you think that this is just being skipped over for the most part, but Obama is being criticized for something he DIDN'T EVEN SAY?

People are bound to disagree with anything someone says on here...why should you care, everyone has different opinions. I don't think you are alone in not liking Hillary, there seems to be a lot of moms, more than I would have expected, who don't on here, I would have had no idea there were so many if not for cafemom.

Anyway, I am generally a Clinton fan ( and an Obama fan, I think they are both great)...and I agree that what she said was stupid. She didn't misspeak, she used those words on puprose for dramatic effect and later "took them back" when she realized that didn't go over very well. I don't think she said it to flat out lie, but she could have just avoided the whole problem by not saying it at all. As you said, she's a politician and they do stuff like that all the time, but because I like her I personally expect a little bit better from her than I do from the majority of politicians, that's the reason the whole thing bugged me.

The Obama stuff is just ridiculous...ignorant people make up stuff about him left and right, and fools believe it. It is ludirious, but educated people can see right past the BS. He is an awesome man and I don't think anything untrue that is said about him is really going to threaten anything. Regardless of what people want to make up or spread around, those who support him will hold strong and stand behind him. I don't think he is worried about what anyone says.
