Turning Into My Parents

I don't think we all become our parents, but most people end up a lot like them. I can see traits of both my parents in me. I definitely have my dad's anger issues. I can't think of my traits that I got from my mom at the moment, but I probably will soon enough.

I would be proud to grow up to be like my mom. She's been nothing but supportive of me, even when I got pregnant at 19. On the other hand, I hope I don't turn into my dad.

Mar. 26, 2008 at 9:46 AM No! Well in some ways I see myself as my mom. But there are things that I want my son to know and expolore that my mom didn't have the resources or time to do with us. And since I am a single mom of one it makes it easier to do those things.
