A few years back my father was diagnosed with Hep C. Two years ago they said they were looking for a partial liver doner and I was going thru all the paper work to do that when I found out I was pregnant. Since then they've found cancer on his liver and done chemo and he's been on the list for a whole liver.

Yesterday I got a call saying that the doctor told him that the cancer has gotten agressive (2 to 10 cm in 2 weeks) and if they were to do a transplant now the cancer would take over his body. They are looking at different treatment options to extend his life expectancy. As of right now they are saying a year to two (In two years my father will be 55).

My husband said we should consider moving in with him so I can take care of him.

I really don't know if I'm strong enough sometimes.
