Being a single mom and all is not that bad. After all, my girls are happy eating mac and cheese three times a week with no complaint. Not having to worry about what to cook everyday is a relief! Now, add the ocassional school recital and we now have another story. It's not the whole thing of dragging myself out of the house after an exhausting day, (and it's not the commute for me because I work from home) but the whole let's eat, take showers and head out again instead of getting ready to go to bed thing. Add to that finding the black pants and black shoes to 2 growing 11 and 12 yr old. Crystal and my niece Jazmin can pretty much only count on me. Everyone else is too busy if you know what I mean. Sometimes I wonder how it would work if I had a regular corporate job...I used to and things got done somehow, and I just have to remember that I do have much less stress now that I used to.
In any case, let me get off my podum and just say that the girls did a great job on the recital Crystal plays the clarinet and Jazmin plays the alto clarinet. They did a fantastic job on their solos! Go Girls Go!!!
