Oops.
Apparently I worded the whole "he let me out" thing wrong in the previous entry.
I swear, I'm not some caged animal who is only allowed out when her husband says so.
I go out plenty of times during the week--I just have the kids with me.
What I meant by that is that I was able to go out ALONE. Which doesn't happen often. Because my husband is either at work or sleeping.
I wouldn't put up with someone who wouldn't allow me out. I mean hello? Who would?
Second, a lot of people ask me if I was aware of the Showtime series The Tudors. Yup. I have season one on DVD. I am extremely exited about the new season starting on Sunday. We do have Showtime and my DVR is all ready to go. (I heard that season 2 episode one is on YouTube if you don't have Showtime. Beware the boobies.)
A lot of people mentioned that they found Eric Bana to be yummy as Henry VIII. I did not. I mean there's no doubt that he's an attractive man but he's just not my taste. I prefer Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Henry VIII. In fact I was startled when Eric Bana came on the screen as Henry. My first instinct was, "Hey! That's not the right Henry!!"
People also asked if I knew of any good Henry VIII books since my entry intrigued them to find out more.
Obviously Philippa Gregory writes the best Henry VIII books. In my opinion that is. The following are about the Tudors:
The Other Boleyn Girl
The Boleyn Inheritance
The Queen's Fool
The Virgin's Lover
I've read all of those and loved them all.
I also read this:

It was just okay. But I enjoyed it since it had to do with Henry VIII.
Alison Weir wrote a biography on Henry VIII.
I have The Six Wives of Henry VIII and it's very interesting.
I eventually want to get this:

She also wrote this:

This is about Lady Jane Grey who was forced to become Queen by her family after King Henry's heir King Edward died. (Of consumption.) Of course this made a lot of people upset because Mary was the rightful heir. Eventually Mary was made queen and poor Jane Grey was..well, you know, I won't say. It's a good book. Read it.
Alison Weir also has this book coming out:

Obviously about Elizabeth, Anne Boleyn's daughter. I plan on purchasing it when it comes out April 29th.
Speaking of books, I have a lot of them that I want! Eek. Look at my list:

This is from the author of Good in Bed. It's the sequel. I must have it. This is released April 8th.

This one is by the author of Something Borrowed, Something Blue, and Baby Proof. Released May 13th.
The next book I want is Queen of Babble Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot. (No book picture up yet.) I read the other two Queen of Babble books and they're hilarious. I highly recommend them. The newest one is not released until June 24th.
Oh and Marian Keyes has a new book coming out too. It's called The Charming Man out June 17th.
So you see?
All sorts of new books coming out.
Ack.
In other news, did you see my Piersy win The Celebrity Apprentice??
And did you also see how they stretched it out for TWO FREAKIN' HOURS?
I was getting impatient towards the end. Especially when Trace started singing a song!
I didn't want to see Trace singing a song. I wanted to know the winner!
I fast forwarded through that part. Because I had to pause the episode quite a few times to get Natalie. She's doing the thing where she'll pull herself up against the crib and just scream and scream until someone helps her down. Even though she knows how to get down on her own. I've seen her do it. I know she's trained me to come get her and yes I probably should let her cry but I can't bear to hear it for more than five minutes. It breaks my heart. I don't know how people can tune that out.
So yes, thankfully I was able to fast forward through the singing.
Blah blah blah.
Then finally MERCIFULLY at the final two minutes Donald announced the winner.
I was a little miffed at the Backstreet Boys though.
I mean they wanted WHEATGRASS in their dressing room? For a CHARITY event?
And nailpolish??
What brats.
I knew there was a reason I didn't like them.
Plus they wanted specific water and specific peanut butter and their sandwiches cut a specific way. I'm with Piers, I wouldn't have put up with that crap.
I don't care how famous you get, you don't get that picky.
I mean I hear about celebrities only wanting red M&Ms in their room.
I'd probably be a bitch and leave a couple green ones mixed in.
Oh the horror!
These "stars" need to remember where they came from and keep their heads screwed on straight.
It's probably why my crush on Elijah Wood still stands: he is not like those snobs who demand certain things. He's normal and down to earth.
I suppose this proves I could never be a celebrity assistant or a celebrity manager. I'd be all, "If you want red M&Ms, get them yourself, you spoiled hussy."
Then obviously I'd be fired.
I just couldn't imagine asking someone for specific brands and demanding the room to be set up in a certain way.
I better get off. Natalie is on my lap shouting, "Upp. UPPPP?? UPPPPPPPPP??"
