GRAND MOTHER ARE NOT TO BE FORGOTEN

hI I AM A GRAND MOTHER OF 2 AND THEY ARE MY  WORLD.

BUT NOW MY WORLD IS CRASHING ARROUND ME RIGHT NOW . MY GRANDSON IS BEING USE  AS A TOOL TO KEEP ME IN LINE..by  my son in law and my own child is letting be done.so what do we grand mothers do about it........Justed set and cry or what?????????

My one passed away right before my first child was born and I STILL miss her, it hurts sooo bad. My mom is active in my kids lives and I would never do anything to keep them from her, even thogh some times she can be a pain, but hey you can't get along all the time. I will pray for you though. I hope things improve.

Mar. 17, 2007 at 10:13 AM That's the lowest of the lowest! The only way to let them know that it won't work is to not let them do it! Sooner or later, they will give in. As painful as it is, they need to know that you won't play. Of course, I don't know what it is that they are trying to get you to do or not do!

thanks for al your coments it all started me helping my oldest girl with the father of her little girl the bad thing about it is every thing is great with them it made my son in law mad..They all need to grow up my son inlaw is very controling over ever thing

Thats just wrong!  No matter what goes on between you and your son-n-law, nothing should stand in the way of you being Grandma.  He needs to grow up and quit using his child as a weapon or tool.  I'm very gratefull to love my son-n-law, and him me. But I feel your pain, and I'm sorry. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I feel your pain, but I have no solution...  I have a similar situation.  It really has broken my heart, but as long as our children allow it, there is not much we can do...  It seems everyone has a different reality.  If I can help,let me know... I am so sorry... they are the ones losing...
