stuffy nose

my son has a very stuffy nose and a cough i had to suction his nose so he could eat  does everyones kids hate this? so it seems like hes getting his first cold  any advice?

Mar. 17, 2007 at 9:28 AM My daughter hated getting 'sucked out' until she was around 10 months old. as far as his cold goes...I used Vicks on my daughter, but don't put it on his skin, put it on his clothes on his chest so the menthol feeling on him won't freak him out. I also got Little Colds, it's for babies, just give him a little bit, it'll help him clear up faster. That's just my personal advice. Good luck, I hope he feels better!

Mar. 17, 2007 at 9:28 AM awww....poor baby!! yes i do think that every kid hates the snot sucker!!! i know my daughter does!! but when she was little and used to get all conjested i would put her in one of her bouncer seats and put her in the bathroom with me while i took a long hot shower and the steam would clear her right up!!
