SO!  Today was Sophia's 1st Birthday.  I have to say, it went really well.  Two strange but not completely unanticipated things took place.

1.  It rained, snowed, was sunny AND hailed today.  This was not such a shocker since it has been doing all four of those every day for the last three or four days.  We had initially planned a party at a park and then rescheduled it for our house.  Sophia got to wear her cute birthday dress while it snowed outside.  Come on, PDX.  What the heck?  It's SPRING.  

2.  I invited 5 babes and though only 2 RSVPed, I got calls a few hours before the party from the other three saying they would pass by (meaning, attend).  I was freaking out for a bit since I wasn't sure if I had enough food or SPACE for people to sit.  Seriously, our living room is small.  I was freaking out.

Everything turned out great.  How we managed to fit 18 people in our house is beyond me.  I had enough food, the babies had a good time, everything turned out GREAT.  My husband is fabulous and Sophia was AMAZING.  I am so lucky/blessed to have such a life and such a family.

OKAY!  Shower!
