This is my escort - I purchased it 8 yrs ago. If finally broke a piston about 3 months ago. Now I have "Mom's Ride" posted in my photos. I drove it without the front grill for over a year after I had a blind date with a white tail doe. I was on my way to work and she bolted into the road from behind another car's headlights.
I live in the Texas Hill Country - and its not IF you hit a deer.... It's usually WHEN you hit one. My lil escort survived some 6 strikes- usually resulting in having to replace the lights until the last one and that was what got the grill. Thankfully, the deer was tossed to the side of the car and not over and into my windshield. My MM is going to take off the newest parts to salvage and the rest is going to a scrap yard.
