Pres Clinton Will Be In Bend Today!

I'm so excited! Pres Bill Clinton will be here in Bend to speak at Bend High School today. That's pretty amazing that he's coming to our small town! We're hoping to go.

He spoke at my old high school last Friday. From what I read in the local paper, people started getting there about 3  hours early (around 2:30 pm)....and it the gym was completely filled around 2 hours  before it was time for him to speak (so it was full at 3:30). Bill arrived an hour late and started speaking at 6:30 instead of 5:30. If there is a big Clinton following in your town, plan to go early and stay late. I'm not a big fan of Clinton (I'm a Republican), but I thought I'd let you know from one small town girl to another.... my neighbor went, and she had to stand outside the gym, in the rain. I hope you have a good time tho.

May. 5, 2008 at 9:44 PM Hillary, Bill, Chelsea, Obama, Michelle: all of them have been swarming NC this past week. Bill was in our town, Hillary was in the town next to us, Chelsea's been all around and Obama was in Raleigh. Tomorrow is the Primaries, then they'll for get we exist again. :)  I'm so negative.
