Tonight while my son and I were out getting groceries, our house caught fire. I didnt even know it until I was driving home and I saw about 15 firetrucks and cop cars outside my home and firemen running inside my house. Thankfully we wernt home at the time, but my dog didnt make it. They let me go in after they had it controled and I almost couldnt walk past the kitchen because it didnt even look like my house. They said it started in the dining room, and they think it was an eletrical shortage, but they will no more tomorrow. My husband is deployed so I just got off the phone with the red cross and hopefully he will get to come home.
It was so weird walking in there and seeing everything that you own all melted together, pictures that use to be on the wall, melted to the ground and all of my husbands army awards gone, and the ceiling completely down. It is unlivable and probably wont ever be again. I am so overwhelmed with what happens next. I just hope my husband can come home so I dont have to go through this alone. Thank you for taking the time to read this....im going to try and get some sleep.

I am so sorry about the loss of your house and your dog. Thankfully you and your child were not at home. For me the thought of it happening is my biggest fears. I know losing a animal is very hard. My thoughts will be with you.
