So I have been sick pretty much for the last 2 weeks. This is coming from someone who is hardly ever sick.  It is depressing, along with the weather [rain, rain, and more rain]  First the flu , now sore throat. Back to the doc today.

I cannot imagine how depressing it would be to have a chronic illness , like my mom whose asthma and chronic bronchitis keeps her in the house most days. I will be more sympathetic now I think with her. Not that I wasn't before but I have a better understanding of her situation now.
