Earliest memory

My earliest memory is of going to kindergarten for the first day. My mom walked me to school, introduced me to the teacher and then she left. I was so sad!!!! When we went outside later for recess I decided to go home. We only lived 2 blocks from the school so I knew the way. When I got home I told my mom that I was done with school so I would just stay home with her. She took my hand and walked me back to school while explaining why I need to go back and assuring me that I would be able to come home in a few short hours.
