What Does my child do to result in a time out?

Hmm...well we dont exactly have time outs.  Basically her throwing a tantrum is the only sassy issue we have had.  We just put her in her bed and tell her when she is ready to come out and talk to us she may come out.  It always seems to work.  Sometimes she falls asleep and sometimes she comes out and we talk about what has made her angry or upset.  Tantrums are a huge thing with her since she is autistic.  We hate to punish her for it so we don't do the time out, we just let her get her feelings out in a safe place like her bed with 2 pillows and lots of blankets.
