So, we pay $1000 a month just to have health insurance.

Sean fractures his arm at 4:am and I take him to a NETWORK HOSPITAL- this was back in Nov.

The emergency room doctor on duty at the time is NON NETWORK, so I get a ridiculous bill- WTF!!!!?

So, when you're freaking out in the middle of the night with an emergency, you have to interrogate the approved hospital to get you an approved doctor so you don't have to pay thru the butt for coverage that you've already starved your kids to have..........(can you hear the silent scream?!)

How in the you-know-where do you navigate the world of medical care ? All I do is fight with these people. It really sux

I'm so sorry you have this problem! I have encountered the same thing in the past. When I had surgery I had the right hospital, the right doctor, but the anestegiolgist was out of network. It's a load of...well, you know....

No matter what you do, they will find some way to weasel out of paying. I've had it happen so many times. Even when I call the insurance company and get prices on what things should be BEFORE the services are done, they still find a way to not pay. Insurance is the biggest rip-off there is. And not just health. Don't even get me started on homeowners here in Florida

I have never heard of that. BALONEY, is what that is. You have to fight, fight , fight. I did with my daughter, they didn't want to cover her birth because they said we didn't turn in the paperwork on time. (I believe we did.) Thankful, after lots of back and forth, they covered her.
