Going green without spending more

It's spring cleaning time and I was looking at the new options for safer products to use around my 2 children - I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old.  Until I had my children the only time I really thought about what the cleaners I was using did to the environment was around Earth Day.  I was a full time teacher before becoming a full time SAHM and Earth Day was celebrated in the school I worked at every year.

 

 

However, since having my children, I've started to look into what I use a lot more.  I have read articles like this one from the National Geographic Green Guide.  I want the best environment I can provide for my children and I don't want to harm them while trying to protect them from germs!  

 

Unfortunately, being a SAHM means that we were on a pretty tight budget.  I didn't really have the extra money to spend on products like Clorox Green Works - which do cost more than your average cleaners (explained by Clorox in their FAQs).  

 

All of this left me searching for a way to provide the safest home for my children without hurting my wallet.  I found that with LiveTotalWellness and Work at Home United!  Not only am I now able to use the products I was searching for and not end up spending more than I had budgeted, I am also making an income to help us loosen our tight budget!

Jun. 2, 2008 at 2:59 PM I'm also part of the Work At Home United Team and I love the support! I taught and worked in social services before working from home with this team. I'd never done anything like this before, but with the support and training the only way you can fail is to NOT try!! For me there is a great deal of integrity with the team as well, and that's important to me. I was looking for something I could be PROUD of....and I'm so proud to be part of this team and our company! Another thing I love? This company was green when "green was just a color"!! All these other companies hopping on the bandwagon now can't compare to 23 years of research and development of our safe products.
