Add Shortcut

Seems like ever where I go there's nobody my age that's a member or even close to it. Where do I go for this. Getting older is good cause you made it that far but not cause nobody wants to have to much to do with you then. I love my family my husband passed away at 58 completely unexpectedly in 2005 and so now i hang with my son and his girlfriend and I want people my age or close to it. I love the movies, and family get togethers of course and just going places. It seems like life is going by so fast and I'm not living a very busy one or active one I have bad knees which makes it where I can't walk to far cause my knees and back of my legs hurt so bad. I have two little dogs and they keep me company but I feel like I should be 85 instead of 59 and I hate it. And some 85 year old do more than I do and that's a shame I hate me some time just hate me. I want more out of life and don't know how to get it and I'm not to crazy about volunteer work that's not the kind of work I want in my life right now. Anyway gotta go right now so everyone out there have a great day.

We may not be the same age or close to it but I'm sure many of us can understand some of your frustration with life. Feel welcome here and share who you are. We are all women, different ages, different backgrounds and different philosophies that can learn from eachother if we choose to.

why not start a new group for women over 55. there may already be one,check and see. once you start(or join) the group, there may be women that live close to your area.
