For the views, for the comments of support and encouragement and for the $160. that was raised today for Melissa DeWitt, my HERO. I'm honored to support another mom in one of the most rewarding, and victorious challenges of her life.
And I honor her.
We have until July 19th to raise the remainder, but this was a sweet and promising kick off.

Blessings. My favorite time of the day.
1. Thank you God for sunny Spring days at the park with my boys...
Andrew is with his Dad this weekend, and I miss him terrible...until TUESDAY he'll be gone!!!
Ah, absence makes the heart grow fonder...he'll miss me as much I miss him, I bet. I cant wait til he comes home...this picture just isn't complete without him.
Blended families bring HUGE lessons....huge.
Thank you for these lessons, God.
2. Thank you for patience. At 3 1/2 years old, Aiden is the MOST WORK! He's like having 3 kids all in one! I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!! I am learning patience, and Ive never had that before...I like it. If it were not for my rambunctious little boy, I might never know the peace that patience can bring. Im loving what he has to teach me.
He went up to the snack bar at the park and said, "I'd like a Sorry-Berry Asheem Please".
Translation: "Id like a strawberry ice cream please".
Same reason puppies are so cute...same reason.
Man...Im bias, I realize that, but he's just the coolest little guy...
Naughty....but so cool.
3. Thank you God for 9 games of Domino's with my grandma; it kept conversation to a minimum, so everyone was happy...she did start in at one point about something, but I stopped her politely, and changed the subject. DH followed my lead, all was well.
And I ordered take-out.

4. Thank you God for the Malibu Rum my DH slipped into my Diet Pepsi before Nana arrived for dinner...Im sure that helped.
5. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support of my friends on Cafemom. Id be lost without you, Sisters. You mean the world to me.

I am always so inspired by your appreciation of your boys. One would think that I would appreciate my kids more (having to go through so much to be a mother!), but I forget how special and precious they are. Thank you for the reminder.
I hear you on the patience....I thought my ss was a patience tester....then i had my DAUGHTER! lol She's twice if not three times as bad as my ss EVER was!!
