Fire...

Okay, so... I have another hilarious story for you guys. This morning about 2:30, Justin and I were deep into the comfort of our own bed. We had a rough night on Friday/early Saturday morning so we were loving sleeping. So, all the sudden my eyes sleepily drift open to the sound of yelling. I'm talking desperate, panicky yelling. So, I sit up and my first thought is this: "That's it. Our downstairs neighbors have finally killed each other", because they constantly fight. I mean constantly. So then, I heard a very loud banging on our door. I mean, this banging shook the door and was desperate. Someone needed something. So, my thought was "great, now they're going to have us call 911!" so I jumped up and so did Justin and we weren't going to answer the door in the first place. So then someone on the other side yells "FIRE!!! Get your kid out!" so I was instantly put into a state of panic that I don't like to be in. So, I started thinking- "Oh my God, what to grab? I have to go to work tomorrow. Where's Ruford and Randy? I have to grab Ezzie's clothes. Brian isn't going to beleive this one (the guy we rent our stuff off of). Hurry Justin, get dressed. I have to get dressed!" So the guy that came into our apartment is yelling "do you have a phone?!" and I just shout "no!!" So he runs off to find someone who maybe does have a phone. So, Justin and I gather up what we need and run out onto our porch to see if we can see anything. About that time, a Marion cop pulls up and I'm yelling for her to stop. I'm not even sure if they know where to go. I am panicking. So, the cop steps out of the car and asks me if I want to sit in the back with Ezden. This makes it real. Our apartment complex is on fire. So, as I am sitting in the back with him, she falls in a hole and is laying on the sidewalk- she had broken her leg. This is amazingly awesome. So, all of the tenants are walking down the sidewalk, nobody is sure what to do. So we all just stand there. Smoke is billowing out of windows. It's a mess. So needless to say, I called into work because I didn't grab anything. We're going over there to see how bad everything is- how much smoke damage there is and how bad it stinks.

Pray for us! It was an absolutely insane night but it seems like it always is with us lol
