Ok, Ethan had his first practice yesterday.  OMG, it was fun challenge to put it gently.  He loves the field that is for sure.  Especially the straight white chalked lines.  He was so excited every time he got a chance to run his fingers threw the lines.  The glove on his hand was a nuisance for him, I guess it just doesn't make sense right now.  A few times he plopped himself on the floor and drew happy faces on the dirt.  He refuse to do any type of exercises and was please when the team gathered for a water break.  (I think water break was his favorite part)  Batting was fun, but I can tell he was a little confuse with it.  We would hit the ball (my hands over his) and he would just be so happy to see the ball fall off the tee and his happiness escalated when he'd hear the parents cheering for him.  But then having to run after a great performance was not part of his plan.  He just wanted to stay at the tee hitting and getting cheered on.  (My son is such a ham)  Although the hour tired me out fully, the best part were the parents (I know most of them) they helped out with all that positive cheering!!!
