Nephew in Special Olympics today!

If you have never been to this , it is quite a humbling experience.

These kids are so proud of their accomplishments.  Everybody gets a ribbon for every event they are in and those smiling happy faces are a wonderful thing to see.

I took a vacation day from work to go watch my nephew, and he was so proud that I was there and he told people that he was special because his aunt got off work to come and watch him.

He is very special. Caleb is soon to be 15 yrs. old.  He has cerebal palsy and is mildly retarded.  But you know what, he is one of the happiest people in the world, and a joy to be around.
