I found $4.00 in my pocket.

I could buy a Skinny Latte at Starbucks...I could get one gallon of gas here in Los Angeles, Ca.

I could buy each of my 4 boys a toy at the dollar store.  I could buy 1 bottle of nail polish, or buy a subway sandwich for lunch.

With $4, I could drive to the fruit stand off Hwy 136 and buy 1/2 a flat of strawberries and take my kids to the park to play and eat strawberries under the sunshine.

I could buy a roll of film, or 1 Happy Meal, a magazine with a diet coke, or cash it out in quarters and go to the arcade.

I could get a chocolate Ice Cream Shake from Carl's Jr. (YUM!) or I could choose a smoothie from Jamba Juice.  EVEN YUMMIER!

How much do Pirates pay for earrings???

A Buccaneer.  LOL!!!!

ok, sorry...BUT, that's two pirates I could buy earrings for...

Four dollars in my pocket...It pays for bowling shoes for two on Tuesdays nights if I can find a friend who'll pay for the game!  : )    OR, $4 will rent me a movie at Blockbuster, and I already have popcorn in the pantry....there's an idea...

Four $1 bills...

I know exactly what I'm going to do with the $4 I found in the laundry.... (finders keeper's, man...)

I'm going to pack a picnic lunch for myself and my boys, we'll grab the skateboards, soccer ball, and a large blanket, and we'll head to the park.  I'll park my car in the free parking area, enjoy an afternoon at the park with my children, pull out $4, give one dollar to EACH of them, and ask them to kindly give it away.

We'll talk about Charity, we'll talk about how fortunate we are.  We'll count our blessings, and feel the JOY in sharing. 

We'll research, and find out what they are passionate about, and HELP THEM TO BE GENEROUS PEOPLE.

$4 never looked so valuable, did it?

That is truly an awesome idea! SERIOUSLY! You are a great mama! We try to get Caedmon involved in things like that now and then to keep him grateful for all he has. It is awesome!
